The first two concerts in Oldenburg and Nordhorn were successfully completed by our students.
With a varied programme of works by Mozart, Brahms, Arensky, Röntgen, Widmann and many others,
the young musicians put a spell on the audience over two great evenings! Thank you very much!

What is more inspiring, as a work with the composer himself in attendance?
Today we had a visit from this year's "Composer-in-residence" Jörg Widmann. Our students have worked with him on four works: the Quartet no. 1 and no. 3 (Hunting Quartet), the fever imagination and the octet.
Next Thursday will be live in the works of the Opera House Magazine 4 in Hannover .
The start is made, just nine students are still to come. The International Summer Academy has begun. Students are arriving from all corners of the globe. We are so glad that it's now starting properly.

55 students are in the starting blocks for the 40th International Summer Academy for Chamber Music in the Frenswegen Monastery.
